This book design is a book that brings together a collection of quotes, interviews, and inforgraphs all dealing with the subject of religious violence. The purpose of the book is to point out the irony within religious violence and confront the viewer with various religions and the different acts of violence created in the name of that religion. The purpose of the book is to encourage dialogue about this topic through the presentation of information.
Espresso Yourself
Identity for a coffee shop & gallery
Espresso Yourself coffee shop & Gallery is a fictional, self-initiated identity with a logo that utilizes two hand-drawn typefaces. Each page within both the web and app design were completely designed to be ready for development.
Big Belly Solar Compactors
Poster Design
Big Belly Solar Compactors are energy efficient trash compactors. The intention of the poster design was to reflect the sustainability of the compactors while drawing in student participation in using them across the Webster University St. Louis campus.
Webster Dance
Identity for Webster University's Department of Dance
The Webster Dance identity was made to reflect the modern and traditional aspects of the Department of Dance. Classical serifs were added to a modern typeface so that the logo reflected these two otherwise opposing ideas.

"Memory is Treacherous, you can't depend on it." - Milton Glaser.
This hand-drawn design was meant to reflect one of my favorite quotes by Milton Glaser. A brain holding rose colored glasses was meant to reflect the notion that our brains constantly deceive us, and there is a difference between truth and memory.

Identity for snow and ski apparel
The diamond icon is a direct reference to slope difficulty that snowboarders and skiiers would immediately recognize.
Zen Thai & Japanese Cuisine
Restaurant Identity
Zen is a fictional identity based on an existing restaraunt in St. Louis, Missouri. The new design for my reinterpretation is based on the Japanese aspect of the business. The typeface for the logo is an altered version of helvetica, one of the main typefaces for the identity.
